This is another fantastic image from the Hubble Space telescope which I developed into a spacecape painting. What thrills me about it is its dimensionality. One almost has a sense of an eye looking beyond itself and into deep space. But while deep space itself is black, here deep space is a pure azure region, "L'AZUR, L'AZUR, L'AZUR," Mallarme would have said.
